If you just look at it from a numbers standpoint he is probably right. LSU's current roster probably has as many pros on it as Alabama's does. LSU has more receivers that will play will play on Sunday and more tailbacks that will. The O line LSU may have one or 2 more, Alabama has tight ends that will play on Sunday, maybe LSU does hell who knows what those guys are capable of. DeSean Smith could be a fantastic pass catching tight end but we wouldn't know. Jacory Washington could be as well but we won't know that either. Defensive line and linebackers, LSU has 3 right now that will play on Sunday, maybe 4 with Bower. Alabama has 7 for sure, maybe their backups will as well, LSU has more db's that will play on Sunday. So yes the numbers are about even when you look at it that way. The problem is the depth at linebacker and defensive line. Hopefully this offseason will address that, half the class should be defensive linemen and linebackers. And let's face it, neither team has a QB that will play on Sunday.
I think I believe that, but we were destroyed on the lines last week so at best we're losing a step. I don't think we're the cool destination anymore but we got some hella recruiters on staff. Choppy the sloppy chief seems to have failed us. This weekend was a bummer. I don't know man, I'm still hurting. Not real rational.
You do realize that this group of players you say are deserting the ship are some of the same players who escort recruits and talk to them about what its like to play for LSU and the coaches. The last 3 years LSU has finished 6,26, and we are in first for 2016. So the deserters must selling the experience to some extent. Is your theory that they are telling recruits its a great place for your college career in January and running out in March?
You don't need a QB that can play on Sunday to win championships. You need a QB who can play on Saturday
No, what I'm telling you is that if you wear glasses with shit tinted lenses all you will ever see is shit. For instance - you say we haven't been in the conversation for years - and yet we were in the first playoff group. We're still in the top 10. That's shit? I truly believe that if we were get a 1 point victory in the NC game this years some people will complain that if Miles would have passed more we could have won by 10.
LOL, yeah. Who cares where you are in the middle of the season - when it came down to it we got skunked against elite competition. That heartens you to believe we're on the right track, well golf clap for you. I've said my mind realizes that we can still make something of the season, my broken heart still hopes for a win this weekend, but my gut, based on years past, expects to be disappointed. Wonder which of my parts will be tingling by the end of R-Kansas?
