I don't care at all about Richt because he's not at LSU. I would be wary of the product he has been putting on the field if I were a UGA fan, I suppose. About Miles, I would certainly like to see how this season plays out before saying that we are trending down.
If I'm UGA, yes. If the admin aren't good enough to manage it, maybe that needs to be exposed to daylight. If we're scared that the people running the show are too incompetent, well damn... Don't strive to manage mediocrity, strive for greatness.
True. Kiffin is a good coordination but he got the Raiders head job at 31 or 32. Was fired not long after but winds up as HC of Tennessee until the Condoms called. Three plum jobs without ever accomplishing anything That said, he had a great game plan for LSU. Called the game the way Les should have allowed Cam to call it. Difference is that Saban gives him a lot more leeway of not the total responsibility for the ,Bama offense. Cam doesn't have that freedom. Any body who thinks Cameron is the complete architect of the game plan should ask himself, would the mentor of Drew Brees keep running into a brick wall.
I don't care about UGA either. If we finish top 5-10 that would be our best finish in a while. If we're at the bottom of the top 25 or unrated, not impressed with our finish or the trend. In between is underwhelming and another year where we are not a contender, so still down IMO.
That's not a good enough excuse, but I have stated that's something that needs to be addressed. Maybe not being Alabama's whipping boy every year would help, because that's kind of when the mass junior exodus started.
Very true, really since the '11 BCSCG fiasco LSU has had a mass exodus of JR's that are not ready, most could use another year and possibly be drafted a bit higher. I'm sick of the excuse of LSU losing so many players. Bama loses as many are more every year. Yet they stay at the top. Fact is if Miles and staff did better player evaluations, plus a better job of coaching up kids then LSU not have lost as many games in recent years.
