I'm not OK with it, but I'm not frustrated by lack of a championship every single year either. No team in history has ever been that good. Our fair-weather fans are spoiled by success, just like Florida was in the 90's, which was why Spurrier left. You kiddies are tired of hearing it but if you ever sat through 8 losing seasons, you might appreciate the huge success that LSU has. LSU has no god-given right to win championships, we could get mediocre again, like Ole Miss was for 40 years. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Don't you realize that being ranked in the top 10 year after year IS competing for championships? We don't win them all, but nobody does. LSU is an elite team, ask anybody.

I've been listening to and watching LSU football since Billy ran back the punt against the Rebs.
Les is a great person. He's a superb representative for the University. But like me, he's phucking hard headed. My biggest criticism of him is he doesn't recognize it's 2015. He also doesn't recognize his 3 yards and a cloud of dust offense isn't going to cut it. We have the potential to be better. I don't see it happening unless Les changes his offensive philosophy.

You mean holding the head coach accountable? You would reward a coach for diminishing results?

We haven't been in the final top 10 since 2011. And the talent LSU has really says that shouldn't be the case, especially 2012, 2013.

It's all about the atmosphere around the program. There has to be enough support to do it, and you wouldn't be canning him for winning. If we implode for the rest of the season, how much longer do you give him? I'm not assuming we will, it's a hypothetical question.

How do you feel about Richt?

He might be a tad soft as AD.

His offense looked better than Cam's.

I remember the dark ages, not as young as all that. IMO the dark ages were worth the NCs that followed. We were mostly an after thought when McClendon was here. The hardest part about making brash moves is that the AD is trying to steer a massive rig, not a svelt speedster. I hear you on that front.

We've been out of the NC conversation since Bama blew the doors off us in the mulligan of the century. No one expects a NC every season, but I expect more than 3rd best in the west and trending down. Undulating results are to be expected, but we've been slumping, we've been sagging.

We'll see what transpires this weekend.

What diminishing results? How are we "trending down"?

You seem to forget the huge amount of talent that left early for the NFL. That has been the major problem . . . talent that is too young. As soon as they get good they leave early.

But are you ready to live through the Archer, Dinardo and Hallman periods to get to a chance for an NC? Twice as many SEC losses in that period as the Miles era. A lot of people say they want a divorce, but when the alimony comes due its a different story.
