That makes sense to me. Or it can go in .04 increments, so that you still get only 1.00 deducted for beating the top ranked team.

Plagiarism at its finest While I agree with most comments on this thread (especially the BCS debates), I can't help but notice that the time of the post from "islstl" is some two hours AFTER good ol Dandy Don had his morning report up. While the post was excellent, I can't help but wonder why proper credit hasn't been given to a guy that works his tail off to provide excellent news about LSU to all of us.
I'm sorry, I love Dandy Don, but islstl had this up a couple of days ago and updated it on Tuesday. Dandy Don didn't have it up until this morning. Check the dates before making accusations. Dandy Don's post is actually 22 hours after islstl originated it. Plus I notice you are new to the board, but if you were here for the past month, you would know that that post was written in islstl's style. If anyone plagiarized, it was Dandy Don's site. I don't think islstl has a problem with him using his information however. Dandy Don's expertice is in Recruiting, not crunching BCS numbers.
Actually I emailed Dandy Don this afternoon and told him that I appreciated him using my information on his website so that more LSU fans can get access to it (those that don't come to this board but do use his site for valuable informaton). Thanks Dark Hornet for explaining it to this young pup. As far as for you bp6316, you get a waiver for "jumping the gun" on this one only because you a "newbie". Take my advice and research things a little further before making such crass allegations. Others on this board will eat you up for lunch for doing such things. If you would have noticed, I credited Rich Tellshow for the BCS mock poll. The computer poll results are available for anyone to see if you know where to look. All the comments were mine. In addition, the post shows the initial date and time of 01-06-2004 12:23 PM. That's Tuesday around noon. You saw the post on Dandy Don Wednesday morning. Have no idea of what you meant by my post being 2 hours later.
Many apologies I'm at work and on a stupid Mac which doesn't seem to be showing the dates correctly. It shows on my side that all dates are today (even ones in other forums that I know are old) for some reason. I apologize 100 fold. Keep up the great work (as Dandy Don will undoubtedly do too.). GEAUX TIGERS! P.S. I think part of my reaction was induced by the fact that I'm an LSU guy stuck out here in Southern California. It's hard work defending our Tigers in the land of USC (though it wasn't that way until they all jumped on the bandwagon recently).
Well that's exactly the reason I made this post and asked the admin to make it a sticky. I wanted to get this vital info out to as many LSU fans as possible so that we have as much ammunition to show people why LSU is the REAL NC. I actually don't know if someone sent him the info from this board, or if his staff actually combs this board for valuable info, but however it went down, I was happy and proud that he used my info so that as many LSU fans, such as yourself, could read it too. PTI Tony Kornheiser on the ESPN show PTI stated that he didn't care whether LSU was better than USC. He said he was voting for USC "just to blow up the BCS". That right there goes to show you that the AP poll is used for the sportwriter's agenda, not to actually decide which team is best.
Man NY times is a bias bunch aint they? Maryland #3, Ohio St #4, and Miami #5? OU aint even in top 5? I am glad I dont get NY times or live in NY, I read the NY times it prolly say the stock market crashed at midnight.
