Forgot to mention the snakes.......apparently the cottonmouths have woken up. Killed 8 of them Saturday in the pond and my brother just texted me that he there messing around and has killed 3 more today. Havent seen many of them the last few years(rattlesnakes are another story) but they have come back strong this year. All smaller snakes 2-3 ft and skinny.
make that 5 more. He is just walkin around down there kicking the grass and shooting them as they come out.
its pretty bad. add 1 more to the list said the last one was a big one. Dont know how big. Said he was about to leave since he hadnt seen on in a while and walking across to the truck a big was curled up there with its mouth open showing him the cotton. After killing all those Saturday we burned around it yesterday evening expecting to kill some then but didnt see any. Today I guess since most of the grass is gone they are more concentrated in the spots that didnt burn and can find em.
