Nah. Just lots of patience. I saw a total of 20 deer in 10 full days hunting 11 hours per day. 110 hours in the stand but that's what it takes sometimes on public ground.

And in my case, a lot of adderall.

I was wondering where the hell you were. Almost put out an APB.

You jack up and stay in a tree all that time?

Usually yes. Other times sit on the ground and move spot to spot really slowly sitting in each spot an hour or 2 doing a little light calling. Just depends on situation, terrain, sign, movement, pressure on area, etc. and of course sometimes the walkers will be burnin their ass up and I'm just gettin in front of them

Holy shit 11 hrs a day. Do you shit in a bucket. This coming warm weather wouldn't be fun either. Then again it's still wet.

well scratch the TN trip. Apparently my cousin does not hunt according to the seasons says he has never seen a warden ect and from what I can see online the season will be closed up there by next weekend.....but I aint rolling those dice esp out of state. Think I am gonna ease over across the Pearl and hunt the Honey Island swamp a little bit to end the season. Never hunted over there but always wanted to venture in there a little. good chance to do it this year.
