Being a cougar and liking younger guys is one thing, when you start riding the dicks of your underage students then there's Dr.Phil issues, and many of them.
Teenaged boys throw themselves at young teachers. When I taught high school in my 20's, it was boy after boy trying to get something started. I have to think that the women that take up these boys on their propositions are craving the attention that being the teenagers' sex symbol affords them. Basically, it's a self-esteem issue. Surely, they could get laid by some guy more age-appropriate, but high school is easy pickings. I'm much happier now that I'm old enough that the boys tell me I remind them of their moms. It's much less uncomfortable. ETA: I just clicked on the link to see the teacher in question's picture. I can't believe there are even high school boys THAT hard-up. So, I retract that she could easily get laid by a more age appropriate dude--probably not. She's hideous.
I don't think it is just teenage boys throwing themselves at just female teachers. I am old, fat, ugly, and probably have the "old man smell." Having said that, I am stunned at some of the things and or insinuations some of these students have said/done. You have never seem my chubby little legs move as fast as I have on several occasions as I have headed to office to tell the principal what was just said to me. Amazing.
They say that insecure women go for teenage guys because they have more control over the situation. Well, nobody looks very good in a mug shot after they have been crying and depressed that their life is over. With her hair down, a smile, and some makeup . . . she might look a lot better.
