Federal Court Rules Schools Can Protect Their Colors

    It is obvious from smack's product line that they are trying to use college colors, and phrases and not pay CLC dues and get the propper liscence. The court did not rule that companies cannot make purple and gold shirts. It ruled that companies can not infringe on a school's brand. I will forward this case on to my sister who does intellectual property work, but I think anyone can see this is a cut and dry case.
