From the memo these admissions give lie to the idea that it was all caused by the Steele dossier.
Memo actually confirms a timeline not favorable to Trump:
    1. Counterintelligence probe opened in July 2016 by FBI because of George P./Wikileaks/emails.
    2. FISA application on Carter Page obtained late Oct. 2016, after Page had left Trump campaign.
Likewise remember that there were 4 reissues of the warrant. That required the FBI and DOJ to prove the warrants were productive.
I have serious issues with the FISA act and wonder why those questioning what happened in this case voted overwhelmingly to reauthorize the act without changes to protect citizens.

Except that McCabe stated the warrant would not have been gotten without the dossier

Thus far, not a single damn person has been charged with Russian Collusion. SO, until that happens, it is 100% a fishing expedition based on hot air.

You continue to base this on “the memo” and this allegation is disputed, not only by the Dems on the HPSCI As well as loads of people who are experienced in the FISA process. These warrants are NEVER based on sole source documentation.

I simply remind you, last year Nunes went to the EOB, got stuff from White House aids, and then, amid great flourish went to the White House to provide the info to Trump. You are betting the bank on a partisan idiot.

Until Mueller releases his evidence...then hot air becomes high crimes and misdemeanors.

What funny is all the people up in arms because Trump or whomever in his team was wiretapped, but haven’t said a fucking thing in all these years about our 4th amendment rights being under attack. Our emails being read, millions of terabytes of data being collected on us.

You really wanna find real criminal activity, start tapping everyone in the top 30 percent and leave our shit alone.

Self-justification describes how, when a person encounters cognitive dissonance, or a situation in which a person's behavior is inconsistent with their beliefs, that person tends to justify the behavior and deny any negative feedback associated with the behavior.

Congress petitions the agencies for documents. The agencies stonewall. Congress writes letters of demand. The agencies stonewall. Congress, after exhausting it's only means of direct oversight, writes the OIG. The OIG, who has direct responsibility of government oversight, reviews the petitions, determines that the agency is stonewalling, acquiesces and provides the documents.

That's where we are. The OIG has entered the fray. The current OIG, I might add, is an Obama appointee. BTW, Nunes didn't investigate a got damn thing. His info came straight from Horowitz and is a short brief of what Horowitz found....even the Strzok/Paige text messages came from Horowitz. Horowitz letter to Nunes...

Can we also talk about Cody Shearer, the Clinton's "Mr Fixer"?

"Last week, his name surfaced in a letter to the Democratic National Committee from Sen. Charles E. Grassley, Iowa Republican and chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and Sen. Lindsey Graham, South Carolina Republican. The letter listed nearly 40 names and entities. The two senators asked the DNC to disclose any communications with them from March 2016 to January 2017.

The list included the well-known Russia collusion figures: Fusion GPS, the investigation firm that hired former British spy Christopher Steele, who wrote the infamous Russia-Trump dossier; Fusion’s founders and some heretofore never mentioned Fusion researchers; Mr. Steele’s associates at his London Orbis Business Intelligence firm; and Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska.

Two of the letter’s names have not appeared previously: Mr. Blumenthal and Mr. Shearer.

Congressional representatives did not comment on the sudden revelation.

Fusion has said it paid Mr. Steele $160,000 with money from the Hillary Clinton campaign and the DNC
to write a dossier it hoped would destroy the Trump campaign.

But several days after the Grassley-Graham letter was released, The Guardian published an article that said Mr. Shearer wrote his own Russia dossier on Mr. Trump. It said Mr. Steele handed it to the FBI in October 2016.

At that time, Mr. Steele was trying to persuade the FBI to investigate Mr. Trump. He had supplied the bureau with his dossier, which suggests a series of unverified crimes by Mr. Trump and his aides. The FBI has not confirmed any of the charges."
