I'm sure we already subsidize things anyway.

the internet doesnt have a problem. obama is trying to slide this 332 page document through in the middle of the night, that isnt allowed to be seen until after for a reason. but some involved have blown the whistle on this thing as it is ugly as sin.

it will give the fcc control over virtually every aspect of the internet and will increase the costs for everyone.

this is complete garbage. we have multiple internet providers. they make money. no ones complaining the internet is too expensive compared to our actual usage. this is going to change all that in the name of saying they are fixing a problem for the masses that doesnt exist. again.

just like electricity, food costs, car companies and the climate. more government.

go away. leave the private sector alone.

its a money and control grab. if the internet was a country it would rank fifth with $4.2 trillion with already half the worlds population with access.

Yes. You see how they took this net neutrality controversy and seized the opportunity to gain control. Now if you are for net neutrality you have to be in favor of govt control and tax. The libs here see nothing wrong with that.

This is another one of those "shade of gray" things. It ain't all black and white and logical people must have mixed feelings.

No one wants to quash free enterprise on the internet, but neither do we want providers to cater exclusively to sellers at the expense of buyers. There is a proper balance to be achieved here.

Any way to remove power from the ISPs is ok in my book. We pay terribly high prices for the service we get here in the states.

The report allows them to control who what where provides access and what sites you can go to. It's bogus and they are simply seeking to control one of the most free markets remaining.

    For 30-50

bucks a month you get unlimited broadband Internet in most places. It's use/cost ratio is probably the cheapest thing out there since it's used for everything all hours of everyday for something.

    That's a fact.

If this means no more smut on the interwebs, might just be time for a revolution.
