The SC said the president is the authority. Therefore, logically, if a president says a collection of docs are declassified, that is all that is needed as “proof”. That is what the office grants per the constitution; as the SC confirmed.
everyone? his family is close to him and they seem ok. and he hasn't even been accused of a crime after all these years
the thing you guys don't get and I've been trying to explain for so many years is how easily you are manipulated by the media who breathlessly and angrily excitedly reports everything as if Trump is positively finished but he never is that's the thing he never is
Maybe it is you who have been manipulated all along. Your confidence seems to stem from the fact that Trump hasn't been indicted or convicted for anything but that is a misleading metric. The man was President for four years and thus exempt from prosecution. Now he is being investigated....not by Democrats in congress but by law enforcement and the DOJ. The DOJ have subpoena powers that congress does not. Trump can no longer claim executive privilege or use the office to shield him. It's only been 18 months since he left office. Investigations into matters such as this can take a minute.
