1. Or maybe it was bullshit.
  2. Let's see what the courts say.

  3. Who said it’s going to court? You need charges 1st baw. And charges mean discovery.
  4. The law according to you. An expert like yourself should be able to find the law you’re so well versed on. Provide a link in support.
  5. I did. Go read the EO. I’ve posted it a few times in a few threads.

  6. As asinine as it seems, Trump had the authority to declassify at will. However, did he do while in office? Someone must be willing to say, or lie for him. Is it wise to have these documents at his personal/public residence? Has he done anything with this info? After all, it's not the type of info you'd want to have to show to your friends, or as mementos or keep sakes. And why the file on the President of France? Certainly, there are people who would like that if it contains dirt. Macron and Trump did not have a particularly close relationship. I don't think the EO will matter much if there is evidence Trump used sensitive security info for personal gain. The things to keep in mind about Trump at all times...it's all about the $'s, himself and loyalty goes in one direction only.
I'd still have to think this will end up in front of a judge. My hope is it is a judge Trump appointed who is a believer in law. Like the judges he and Rudy went in front of in their efforts to overturn the election.
  7. Shit in one hand hope in the other. You know which one fills up faster.
  8. What @LSUpride123 and others forget or conveniently ignore is that the documents weren’t his, they are the US government’s. The government wanted them back and he wouldn’t return them. In fact it appears he had his attorney lie about them.
Why would the government want the documents especially those that had been classified? Because they contain very sensitive information that needed to be protected.

  9. Yea. This time it must be legit.
  10. They also don't understand that the three crimes that were the basis of the warrant don't require that the documents be classified, anyway.
