  2. False. Bush and Obama both signed EO's giving presidents said authority.
  3. Soo, Trumpster stole the nuclear codes? To what end? Is Trump Dr Evil? Are we living in an Austin Powers movie?

  4. Then it should be easy for Trump to produce the declassification paperwork. No problem. Why the fuss?

  5. Sure cite the DOD directive that a president must follow...

You know, the Form (paperwork) number..
  6. Not by waving his hand over them and saying the magic words. There is a procedure and record of the actions. Had he actually declassified documents and followed procedures there would bea record and no need for the subpoena or warrant.
  7. Link the procedure for presidents please.

Every official DOD procedure has a code. Please inform us all.

  8. https://www.politifact.com/factchec...resident-have-ability-declassify-anything-an/

"The minute the president speaks about it to someone, he has the ability to declassify anything at any time without any process"

" such authority gives the president the authority to "classify and declassify at will."

"The president is not "obliged to follow any procedures other than those that he himself has prescribed," Aftergood said. "And he can change those"

so you are wrong again, winston. the president can pretty much wave his hand and say magic words if he wants.

    wrong again.

  9. if there is "declassification paperwork", it would be something other people, not the president, need.

think about it, bud, the president is the commander. if he decides to attack iran, and its secret, anyone who says it is in trouble, unless its him. he is the one deciding the nature of whether its secret or not. he is the ultimate arbiter of national security.
