The media and politicians aren't legal experts. Most legal experts have acknowledged during both impeachment trials and the Mueller investigation that there was no chance of Trump being found guilty because in the cases of the Impeachment, the Republicans held the Senate both times and voted the proceeding down along party lines with the exception of a few defectors. With Mueller the investigation was obviously limited in that they could not prosecute a sitting President. Do you not see the difference between political proceedings and legal proceedings? Trump cannot lie in a court of law, nor can his lawyers lie for him, nor is there partisan Republicans who can rescue him from consequences. This is evidenced by his Election lies....which he could spread at rallies and on cable TV or social media but it all ended when he went to court and had zero evidence and his lawyers wouldn't lie because they didn't want to be charged with perjury.
