you want something crisp and clean so that it doesnt interfere with the chocolate. i drink non-alcoholic beer and i like the st pauli n/a with peanut butter cups. the sweet malty flavor of the kaliber (guinness non-alcoholic beer) is a little too much over all sweetness. dont eat cereals except for sometimes hot cereals.
if you like bourbon i suggest woodford reserve.....smooth as a baby's butt, somewhat pricey. for the bedtime toddy i suggest ancient age 100 proof & coke with a twist of lemon
OK, I like my Elijah Craig.... Mastermind, this Woodford Reserve is poundable, without the mixer. KCAL. trust those in kentuck about spirits, Damn........ TB3, once again it paid off to listen to you.... This has been a tough week, 3 deaths of those close to me. I needed the treat tonight, this was the toast that they would have wanted.
Deceks, first of all, I'm sorry about your horrible week. Prayers to you. As for the topic of the thread: Wines need to be white for me to avoid the headache, though someone told me that imported wines are less likely to cause headaches (amounts of sulphates are lower.) The best wine I've had was a pinot grigio called Evolution at a wedding (in a trendy wine bar in Dallas.) That was one smooth bottle of wine... I used to like Chianti, but I drank two bottles of it at a dinner party one night, and well, the night on the floor of the bathroom wasn't fun. Beer: Coors Light or Foster's with an occasional Corona. It has to be really cold. I can't stand lukewarm beer. I drink frozen margaritas with Mexican food. On the beach, I like a pina colada. I also heard that Superior Grill used Everclear in their margaritas. Those were definitely strong! Bacardi Dark Rum and Diet Coke is my favorite drink of all--I have one every Friday night.
I have a bottle of McCallans 12, that i have had for 6 years. I pounded down to glasses of JW Black in less than 5 minutes and the people who were with me asked me how did I do that. maybe i drink it to much is the answer.
