Could be a reason for that. Since LSU gets the #1 vote for playing it, who gets the nod for #2? This? http://youtube.com/watch?v=Lx5cdDtHfds&mode=related&search= or Clemson?
Sorry but I couldn't find anything on youtube by the O.D.J.B. Is it true the Tiger Band no longer plays the first verse of the song?
School Music, there is nothing like turning to the 3rd corner on the field for Pregame. Non-school song, I would go with malaguena, which is played every 4-5 years(they try and do a spanish show every year). I would also go with Sing Sing Sing from 2003. It was so much fun to performa and watch the bass drums do their thing during the drum breaks.
Interesting observation for a fan of a team whose band plays "The Death March to Bataan". At least our song denotes enjoyment and good times. The only thing that really compares to your fight song is "The Tomahawk Chop".:hihi:
Easy the pregame warm up still pumps me up every time I hear it. Other than that, "Here comes the Funk" and "Ants Marching" also top my list.
They don't play the first half of the song because they don't want to be seen as leading a vulgar cheer towards the opposing team. Which is understandable, but my only qualm, is then why play any of the fan favorites, including first down and Hey Baby because they all have vulgar cheers with them.
Actually the TMB is pretty dam good too. I have a CD of theirs and listen to it sometimes too, and like it, but the LSU songs are in my blood and obviously, to me, and most here, nothing compares to it. :thumb:
