Favorite Movie Growing up or Favorite Old Movie

    I've probably watched it 100 times. I laugh just as hard as I did the first time I watched it. Jackie Gleason played the sheriff role absolutely perfectly.

    Always makes me think of the Cannonball Run movies too...Gawd they were funny!!

    I completely forgot about Spaceballs. Loved that as a kid. I think it came out when I was 11 or 12.

    Loved that one too.

    Agree, one of the best of all time, but didn't really get into it until I was 17 or 18... I own it on VHS and DVD now. As soon as I figure out HD DVD or BluRay, I'll try to get it on that too.

    I am calling bs on this one! How the heck old are you? I would think you are close to my age and that movie (if I remember came out in the very late 80's or early 90's) which should make you in your teens at least unless you are a good bit younger then me or I have the time of the movie completely off.

    Anybody????

    spaceballs came out in 1987. i was 11. i don't know about wee.

    Marrying older women,huh??? Seriously though I had no clue it came out in 87 I thought it was more in the 90's!

    OT, I still have trouble wrapping my head around the fact that Star Wars came out in 79...man. Think I'm getting old. Times going by waaaaaaaaaay too fast.:shock:
