What type/style of food is Ethiopian?? All I can picture them serving you is a bowl of UN rations? My favorites are Greek, Thai, and Mexican (real Mexican) I'll try pretty much try anything that doesn't eat me first. Except for bugs. I've seen television shows where people are eating crickets, beetles, grub worms and sh!t like that. NO frickin way I'm eating that crap.
I love Tex Mex. That makes living good here. Anything Italian. There is a good Chinese buffet close to my house. I can do serious damage there. Had some Thai friends some years back that I socialized with often. The lady came here to study Home Economics and could do some marvelous things in the kitchen. Some of the hottest damned stuff I've ever eaten.
Don't knock it Huey. Some of them are good, if prepared right. I had some larvae that was good, but the grasshoppers and scorpion that were cooked the same way were fairly bad. Also had some ant eggs at an upscale place in Mexico City that were out of this world good.
I wolf those bad boys down. :thumb: Sure, habaneros, bring those on too. I fear no hot sauce or pepper. My favorite ethnic, we get so much good ethnic grub out here: 1. Chinese 2. Mongolian 3. Mexican 4. Indian 5. French 6. Italian
Shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo, shrimp etouffee, pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried, pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp poboy. Th-that's about it!
I like the Geek and Lesbian restaurants the best. Kabobs, hummus, tabouli, kibbis, and shawarma . . . good stuff.
