Sweet. I was worried about that. I look forward to getting sh*thoused with ya'll again at least 4-5 times next season.:thumb:
Some great covers listed here but man, your missing a few classics! Aretha Franklin: R-E-S-P-E-C-T Another Piece of My Heart: Janis Joplin Gloria: The Doors Take Me to The River: Talking Heads (maybe not a classic but great cover) Summertime Blues: The Who Hound Dog: Elvis Blinded by The Light: Manfred Mann
Good call Amigo, you beat me to it. I guess since I'm here I'll have to leave another one. In terms of taking a song and completly making it their own. (yes there are tons but in my depleted brain celled state this is what I've come up with) The Anthrax cover of The Temptations "Ball of Confusion"
i forgot those two were actually covers. good calls. i've been debating on whether or not to say this and i'll probably get flamed for this but i really like ugly kid joe's cover of "cats in the cradle" also while i'm on harry chapin, did sonic youth do a cover of "shooting star"? it's possibly on the "clerks" soundtrack. i like that cover too but like the orginal better.
ooohh, anthrax's cover of public enemy's "bring the noise" and on that note..... korn's cover of ice cube's "wicked".
