Ahh I see. I've only had one slow experience at BK and it was in New Iberia. Had to wait forever for a Whopper with cheese no onions. Like 15 min. There was no one else even in there. When it came out and it was cold I went off.
That list seems highly suspect. Chick fila and Cane's are both incredibly efficient and fast. I never go to Burger King, but I can't see them being faster than either of the aforementioned. Popeyes in Plano is actually pretty fast, too. My daughter's drill team was hosting a contest at the school last year, and since Cane's is one of the team's corporate sponsors, the sent 5 kids to Plano Senior High to cook chicken and Texas toast for 16 hours in the cafeteria kitchen. They were even efficient in that setting. I know...because I was "voluntold" to run the kitchen that day. I cooked and served over 1000 loaded baked potatoes that day.
that's a lot of spuds,.. a kid I knew, son of a potato farmer had a golden retriever named 'Spud' what's Texas toast?
Texas toast is one of the greatest foods ever. Tiga's picture below is a decent representation. That was a lot of potatoes. I would cut them open and add butter, cheese, bacon, etc....or, the customers could choose to have barbecue beef on their potatoes. All told, for one day's (and night's) work, we raised $20,000 for the drill team. Each girl's parents were required to work for 24 hours, but it could be split between moms and dads, so I ended up working from 5 a.m. until 7 p.m. Dad got the shift that went until 2 in the morning.
