McFadden hasn't done shit in the NFL. Then again we could both rush for 1000 behind that line. I think my team will be fine. Plus it's the end of the season that matters and in a 12 team league after your top 4 players it gets thin.
I ended up taking Adrian Peterson with the #1 overall pick in my draft. I wasn't thrilled about that pick but liked my team in general (got Brees with #24 overall and Arian Foster very late). More important is that I rarely play poker and usually lose to my friends when playing friendly games (always $20-40 range). At our after-draft poker game, I won about $175 which was almost the exact same as our fantasy football entry fee so I feel like I'm playing with house money this year. My #1 WR is TY Hilton, followed by B. Marshall and V. Cruz. While we have a flex and only have to start two WRs, this is my weakest position so I'm looking to upgrade. Guys like Hankerson, Brandon Coleman (NO), G. Jennings, Cotchery, and Ruben Randle are available. None stand out enough to waste my waiver wire position at the moment.
Picking 3rd I somehow managed to to get Bell and D. Thomas at 23rd. That should never happen. He was the 7th WR taken off the board. I for sure thought the guy in front of me was going to scoop him up but he took Mike Evans. The rest of my WRs have some big question marks. Andre Johnson (with any A. Luck), Martavious Bryant (4 game suspension), Cruz (hurt). Took Gore also in new offense. Got Abdullah because Bell hopefully wont start too long. Also Ryan Matthews (who knows how that backfield will split carries but maybe redzone vulture). Took Deangelo Williams and will role the dice and start him week one with Bell also suspended. Matt Ryan and Eli. Kelce Panther and Chiefs Carpenter I see some trade raping in my near future.
I have a few of the same players. See if you can figure out the theme of my team. Drew Brees OBJ Jarvis Landry Brandin Cooks LeSean McCoy Mark Ingram Ben Watson (I missed out on the few good TEs, so I'm banking on him replacing Jimmy Graham) Alfred Blue Darren McFadden Ryan Tannehill Victor Cruz Ameer Abdullah Brandon Coleman Dustin Hopkins (new Saints kicker) Houston Texans Def. That's 6 Saints players, and 3 LSU players, LOL.
I actually drafted Watson with my last pick but switched him on waivers with Virgil Green. No clue who will be better. Saints also have Josh hill and Denver has Owen Daniels. So went with younger guy who has a chance of replacing Julius Thomas.
watson will come out in redzone packages I think I heard. Hill in. saints are going to struggle mightily in the redzone im afraid. again.
