Well, without revealing what they plan on doing, suffice it to say, there are verifications going on. And even if you did decide to register multiple times, to be the representative for a given school, you have to beat out everyone else from that school in the season-long weekly pick 'em contests. On top of that, there's no guarantee your school will be in the poll at the end. You'll only be voting on the top five or ten teams...teams that reasonably could be considered for the national title.

 

Well, no one's forcing you to do anything. Judging by the number of LSU registrants just today, I'd say some people actually think it could be fun. Go figure.

Your question as to what if you decided to create 50 accounts...well it uses an email verification...so youd have to sign up for 50 different email accounts.

And for every extra account you create, youll be picking against yourself...youll also be competing agaist OTHER fans for that school...youll also be competing against the OTHER fans who try to do exactly what you are doing.

So in the off chance that you win two...AND manage to have different IP addresses....I HIGHLY doubt youll be able to effect the system...2 out of 119 voters...youll STILL have to pick from a few teams for the NC.

I guess its not as legit as old coaches who dont watch other games...and either half ass their top 25 or get their SID to do it for them....

Oh well, it opened today and 145 people are already on board...guess somebody thinks its legit. :yelwink2:
