You say that cause you agree with the protest. If someone were a NFL referee who suddenly started doing the Nazi Salute during the anthem, and also grew a Hitler mustache you would be totally cool with the NFL canning them. I would be too. And i'm okay with running players off who wear piggy cop socks or sit/kneel during the anthem, as a protest.
Somehow, and so very typical of them, rightwingers have taken a revenue projection of $200 million lower for the entire season, because the NFL was already experiencing lower viewership compared to last year, that was projected BEFORE any of this Trump son of a bitch controversy, and turned that into a bogus story that the NFL has lost $200 in a few days because of the player protests. 38% of all Americans support firing, 65% of Republicans support firing. Now, i'm pretty confidant that the majority of "real" NFL football fans support firing these disrespectful players. But that's solely at the NFL & Franchise teams discretion. And it's our choice whether to consume their "product" or not.
