Known for running a 4.4 40 will cause defenses to defend you more than the RB you will ulimately try and pitch to, thus putting the defense in a precarious position.

First time the LSU offense stalls & we are fighting for the game I suspect JJ will be on the field... better runner, better arm, none of the three have much experience so why not go with your best player??

I see what you are saying but we also have to see how Lee does with pressure and same could be said of Hatch. It really doesn't matter how good you throw the ball if you get uncomfortable in the pocket.

In these camps over the summer the QBs have not faced much pressure while making throws and reports said Lee had some troubles in the department more so than Hatch.

Basically it comes down to who can run the offense with less mistakes and the ability to get the ball to your playmakers. They will both get their fair share of chances to accomplish this and the one who gains the most confidence first will get more playing time. Crowton will have a plan to match both of their abilites with the play calling and mix up the looks for the defense.

JJ has the same amount of experience on the field at TS, but Hatch and Lee have spent a year with the playbook, plus last spring, and have a lot more time practicing the system. That gives them a BIG advantage.

I know we haven't done it too much in the past but I think we might see some limited live action where the QB has his green jersey removed. Crowton and Miles might need to see them under stress to help them make a decision on a starter.

so with hatch limiting the O so much with subpar ability to throw 25yds+, why not go with lee from game 1? the coaches know what theyre doing, i just dont get it.

the first three games of the season are tailor-made for breaking in a qb, and he has one helluva OL and skill players and D.

when he gets in there he's gonna make mistakes, and hopefully fewer as he gets experience. so would you rather lee make mistakes against troy or florida?

I've a feeling if Hatch has as much trouble completing a 25+ yard pass as everyone keeps saying then he wouldn't really be in the mix, at least I hope not. I think the stories are just the opposite of the ones we heard constantly about JR and RP.
