Both are gonna be long term. LaCouture is an ACL and Washington is a knee, didn't say what. Teuhema coming back off an ankle injury and Clapp is getting back into practice from his hip surgery. K.J. Malone (left tackle) and Garrett Brumfield (guard) were getting first-team reps.
Les needs to stop making veterans hit in fall practice. These guys know what to do come game time. I hope LF7 doesn't carry the ball in a live contact situation until he gets to The Frozen Tundra.
If it is true that Trevonte Valentine is now eligible to play this year it will make LaCouture's absence easier to stomach imo.
I disagree on this. Every year I read the same thing about fall injuries from every fanbase. I watched Kiffin and then Sardrunkian take the same thought process to protect the limited roster and at the end of the day, we weren't prepared. We ended up with more in-season injuries. I truly believe you play like you practice. Veterans need the work just as much as the newbies.
thats some soccer mom thinking there and even the soccer mom corrected you. injuries happen. life happens. i hate the second guessing that goes on with this. its lame.
Au contraire, mon frere. Watch Tom Brady come back after sitting out 4 games and not miss a beat. How many live reps do you think Drew Brees is going to play in the pre-season? Or Adrian Peterson? Ask Allen Iverson what he thinks about practice.
I am ok with hitting in practice especially in Fall Camp, game week is a little different. What I read today, said LaCouture was injured in non-contact drills.
