I'm upset that Bowe taunted Miami. That doesn't excuse Miami's ambush in the tunnel, but Bowe needs an ass chewing. I'm not too impressed with our team's behavior, to be honest.

Everyone complaining about the fake punt, give me a break. LSU wasn't running the score up, we were trying to run the clock out. We could have scored more points if so inclined. I was tired of Skyler lining up at QB and running the same play every time, it was too damn obvoius. Other than that the offense looked good for the first time all season. We finally looked like a dominant team. I don't think I should question Fisher any more, just Miles about who he puts on the field.

It's funny how this one game can make this whole season palatable. I still wonder if Miles can keep it up, but this was a great game for tiger fans.

Coker summed it up by saying...

"They can call whatever play they want to. It is our job to stop it."

I was a bit surprised with both fakes, but then I thought, this is Miami! If the Hurricanes didn't have it coming to them, no one ever has.

I enjoyed the heck out of @$$ whippin' those guys! What a thrill! And they were already talking about our preseason ranking last night and how much this domination of Miami was going to stick in the minds of the voters. It matters...

From the espn.com story this morning:

Miles said he called for the fake field goal but his players called for the fake punt.
Coker wasn't affected by the trickery.

"They can call whatever play they want to," he said. "It is our job to stop it."

Well, if it weren't a bowl game, I don't think it happens. Les was trying to spread it around; let the guys have some fun. Saban did a similar thing at the end of the regular season in 2003 against Arkansas.

I've been somewhat critical of Les, not today.

The fake punt call was an audible called from the huddle. The players - particularly the seniors - were just letting off some steam and having some fun in their final game.

It's usually during bowl season where you see some of this, and it's Les' way of saying, 'hey recruits, we'll let you have some fun here at LSU."

What the replay: when the LSU players return to the sideline after that play, Miles laughs and tells one of them "You have no future as a football coach".

The fake field goal was really fun to watch when it was executed perfectly. I was just a bit nervous when Chris Jackson was being tackled at the sidelines.

If it was called by the players, than I understand. But I guess we'll never know.
