And the 2006 crown for Riverboat Rambler goes to Les Miles. Les succeeds Tommy Tuberville who has held the crown for the last few years and has often been criticized by rival fan for his reckless ways.:hihi:
No thanks, I'd much rather me happy about beating the 8th ranked team in the nation in a placve where we had only won once before than being miserable about what could have been. About penalties yes, about 3rd down conversions, no. About play calling, no.
Yeah, I noticed that too. He looked pretty dam scappy- he spun to the middle to get another yard or two instead of taking the sideline..... I was pumped.
The thing that bothers me the most about the game and I can still hear the head ref stating, "False start, #79, LSU." Honestly, how many times can Herman false start in a game?
Three apparently. But every offensive lineman has done it. It's hard not to flinch when someone is stunting in your face. Big Herm is a sophomore getting his first playing real playing time this year, a reserve that was called upon to start because of injuries to Arnold. This was his fuggup game and it didn't cost us an "L". He'll be around for a while and he will get a lot better.
