Using my phone rt now cause net is down as usual after a big rain here. i always assumed my IP from phone data use and cable net were the same. Are they not? For years now, I very seldom post from work.
Not sure about this on the phone side but the ip on your home system is static and remains the same every time tou log on. Phone ips may be dynamic like they were in dialup days, .ie, you are assigned an ip from those ips assigned to your provider that are not being used at the time you turn your phone on. Of course if your internet provider and phone carrier are different the ips will be from different blocks of the assigned octets.
LOL. Shane, I could actually link you to him via IP address. Why are y'all so obsessed with a guy that was run off from here? He is not coming back...let it go. It is interesting how many of you have shared the same IP address at one time on another. Quit stressing about he said/she said stuff and just enjoy the conversation.
