Hey red. They are training honey bees as bomb sniffers. Read that in popular science or mechanics one. So fat they have proven to be highly accurate. Cheap too. http://www.livescience.com/4605-bees-trained-bomb-sniffers.html
Interesting. But I wonder how a crowd would feel about the police bringing hundreds of bees into it? But it will take thinking outside the box. How about releasing packs of trained beagles yelping their way through a crowd? I'm betting that a sensor mounted on a quiet, pigeon-sized drone slowly puttering above a crowd will win the race.
Since they may have a suspect, let's take a poll. Reply in this thread whether or not you think that this is a homegrown terrorist or a Middle Eastern extremist. I think he's homegrown. Go!
They strap them in this cartridge. They can recognize the scent down to a few parts per trillion. If they are downwind of any explosive they respond. Then it's a matter of the operator homing in and the dogs can make that quicker. http://www.technovelgy.com/ct/Science-Fiction-News.asp?NewsNum=1196#pic
Homegrown... If you hate America it's in your best interest to leave us alone. This administration is doing a great job of burying us so why risk rallying everyone together when Obama is already doing a great job dividing us? We will destroy our country from within without the assistance of foreign terrorists. Unstable people are getting pushed too far in this country and will likely begin committing these types of acts. Most of us just get ticked off with overspending, gun control, government intervention, etc. but unstable people tend to take it a step further. Whether you like or hate this administration you have to admit they're going too far with many of their liberal acts. It's not just a sad day for America but a truly sad period of history for our once proud nation. Hopefully we'll recover if there's any hope and change remaining after 2016. For another poll question...Who do you think would suffer greater consequences? (Middle Eastern extremist or Homegrown terrorist) It's an easy answer considering who we have as Attorney General and Commander in Chief.
