    He's big on dying a martyr in "battle" with infidels. If these assholes were the losers that their uncle said they were, this may have all been about martyrdom as a better alternative to life as a loser in a strange land.

    But these guys have hurt the Chechen Revolutionary cause badly. It's a huge strategic setback for them, so it's likely this was just the plan of the losers in Boston. When the Chechens first revolted against the Russians, the muslim Chechens got a lot of moral support from the US, who chided Russia for hanging on to imperial colonies in the post-Soviet era. Then 9/11 happened and the Russians said "Aha! We warned you that these islamist movements are bad news." And we discovered the Chechens were in bed with our al Qaeda enemies and so we cut all support. We needed Russian acquiescence to supply Afghanistan through the 'stans, so we quietly enabled the Russians to crush the Chechen revolution without US criticism.

    This terrorism will terminate any possible US support for future Chechen independence. We might even pay the Russians to keep them under thumb.

    The wont do it because like Sandusky they will keep him in solitary "To protect him" BUT what would be more fitting is putting him in Gen Population in a Angola for example.
    Introduce him to the "sisters" as the Jihadist who killed an innocent 8 year old boy.
    Allow him to get a full dance card for awhile then they will Jeffrey Dahmer him (IE beat him to death with a pipe)

    But we need to know if there are more kooks in his circle. He needs the full water board treatment to get the intel we need. I don't care if he spends another 5 years in a SuperMax prison before he gets the needle if it tips us to another perp.

    seeing a tank with a soldier manning
    the machine gun on top.

    I'm sure it wasn't a tank. It was probably one of those heavily armored tactical vehicles.
