Explosions at Boston Marathon

The reason they stayed in Boston was because they thought they would never be identified. For example, the guy that bombed the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta was never identified. They didn't catch him until like 4 years later when some of his later bombings they did catch him for were very similar to the Atlanta bombing. Had he just bombed the Olympics and nothing else, he would probably have never been caught.

The reason they loaded up on bombs and assault rifles and went on a crime and killing spree last night is because they knew they had been caught. They had been IDed, their pics were everywhere, so they were going to go out in a blaze of glory.

As for how #2 escaped the shoot out, that's still unclear. I figure they weren't pinned down by a SWAT team, just regular cops with service sidearms. Meanwhile these two are laying down heavy fire with assault rifles and bombs. The witness reported smoke was everywhere, so the cops' vision was impaired by all the smoke. Plus you had an officer down in critical condition, another distraction. Plus the witness said #1 charged the cops with a bomb strapped to him, another distraction. #1 was probably hit, told his brother he'd charge the cops as a diversion so his brother could escape. So while #1 charged the cops, #2 was able to get in the SUV and speed off through the smoke without being hit.

The witness said:
"Dzhokhar -- who was wearing a white hat
in the surveillance photos from the
marathon -- drove the SUV through a line
of police officers at the end of the street,
he said."

 

They are cowards, but then again so is our government for bombing civilians overseas. I may take heat for that, but it's true. The difference though, and maybe a military person like Shane can clarify, we don't intentionally bomb civilians.

 

I do hope they take this fuck alive though, so he can be tortured and executed.

Seems to be another Jihad. Maybe not middle east Muslim but Jihad none the less...

I don't want him taken alive because 1) he won't be tortured, and 2) our tax dollars would be supporting his sorry ass in prison for the next ten years of appeals before they put a needle in his arm for a quiet, humane death.

 

That's the part of it that doesn't make any sense to me. Unless maybe they were working with a group and essentially got cut off after their photos surfaced and they became desperate. But still ...
