Speaking of "next year", we should all know by now that we'll see a lot of Jerard Randall, From what I hear, that's a good thing.

Yep, I don't think we'll ever really go away from a change of pace QB from here on out under Les Miles.

But make no bones about it, Mett will play 90 percent of the time.

This won't be shared time like we've seen from Lee and JJ.

It will be much more like Flynn and Perrilloux in 2007.

I read that first sentence and I got really nauseated. Then I read the last sentence and I feel a lot better. The young guys need snaps too. We'll only have mett for 2 years.

Regardless of whether we win a NC or not at the end of the day, the only thing that will make me respect CLM a little less is how he has treated JLee during his career. Well...I guess maybe he doesn't care about my respect when he keeps winning.

It seems pretty apparent to me that CLM is going to go with JJ for the foreseeable future. If he was concerned with Lee getting his confidence back, this would have been the game to do it in. Again, the main unsettling point to our team is the QB. I was actually hoping to see some of Mett against WK but with the unenthused early play and Lee not playing until almost all was said and done, it did not play out. I must say, I was kind of disappointed JL was thrown to the scrape pile after the job he did during the rest of the season.

I agree 100%! Our option, more times than not, makes me feel sick to my stomach. Things like pitching the back when you're already at the sideline is more than I can take.

CLM knows that this team can't be beat unless

    we fumble or thrown INT's

I agree with the above and the fact that Bama pushed JL into his shell

    Excellent analysis for both!!!

I've been on the edge of my seat when JJ is in the last few years (especially against good teams) with JJs pocket awareness and decision making. There is no doubt he is a great athlete, but his instincts and reaction skills are about as bad as I've seen at QB in a while but better this year and in the bowl game. As you stated he can also get you out of messes and I think he was a great choice against Alabama's D, especially with those LBs of theirs.

IMHO, you did a great job with this.

I'm tired of people talking about how Miles is treating Lee, etc.

If he came out and gave everyone a reason to put their faith in him game in and game out then he would have no problem doing that. He's certainly gotten leaps and bounds better this season, but when the pressure was on he folded. I don't know if you guys realize it or not but after Ole Miss the pressure is on... big time.

Sorry...and I won't resort to calling you a moron like you do to people who don't agree with you...but I am in the group of MANY that you seem to think don't exist that would LAUGH HYSTERICALLY at the statement that JJ is running the option to near perfection.

The only thing I have seen JJ do to near perfection is the art of being way more cocky and arrogant than he is good.

Also...I disagree with you putting him running when there is no one to throw to as a pro. I think it becomes a con because if his first read isn't there he usually just bails on the whole idea of a pass and just takes off running. What ends up a 3-7 yard gain and looks good to you, is really a missed 20+ yard play that would have moved the chains.

Honestly...I will be glad when the argument of JJ vs JL is over with.
