We actually didnt have a 3 and out last weekend. And put up 206 yards of offense in the first half, only having the ball for less than 10:00

Our D is what kind of hurt us in the first half

    Just being honest

The play call was ok. But as the analyst pointed out, it was a "one read" play. When the first receiver isn't open, you have to immediately throw it away.

Go watch the film. In overtime against Bama the ball is on the 22 and he takes the snap under center and pitches from the 25......it was perfectly executed. The play was run to the weak side. The LT let the DE go and blocked the OSLB, JJ took the hit from the DE just as he pitched. AND he called an audible on that play.

I'll never understand these types of comments. I coached the flexbone offense for several years and we ran a lot of option. You guys who are so critical of the way JJ executes it do not have a clue. Do you actually believe the option would be such a big part of our offense if he couldn't execute it? The fact that you think you have more figured out than the coaching staff of the number one team in the country is beyond arrogant.

He should have checked out as soon as he saw the safety. I know everyone says neither Lee nor Jefferson are very good at that, but I have seen Jefferson check out of plays before.

On another note, I just don't think either of these guys are good reactionary quarterbacks. It's almost like they have to think back there, and generally you don't have time to think.

Again, I'm glad we have both because we are going to need both.
