https://www.newsweek.com/bill-barr-rips-donald-trumps-absurd-wacky-legal-arguments-1807515?amp=1 buddy even Bill Barr says your legal theory is absurd….as absurd as their legal theory that Mike Pence could simply pick a different slate of electors to overturn an election. It doesn’t really matter who you quote if what you are quoting isn’t applicable. What makes you think that you know more than Trumps own attorneys? I’ve advised you all along that those political proceedings…impeachments, the mueller investigation were all political in nature and were therefore the worst consequences would be impeachment and Trump could defend his actions in the political arena where facts don’t matter and the truth is easily twisted. Now we are in a court of law, where facts do matter and the truth is the objective. So these half whitted theories that get tossed around by Trump and you and Tom Fitton will never be mentioned in court because they would get laughed out of the courtroom by the judge. That is why his lawyers aren’t talking about it…because they know better.
Why would their lawyers talk about their defense before a trial? Good thing you sell mattresses. I repeat: I quoted, verbatim, Supreme Court rulings on matters SPECIFIC to classified information and the AUTHORITY of the president. You quote CNN/MSNCB.
so you think Bill Barr and Merrill Garland are wrong…being the past two attorney generals…and you know better than them? Is that what you are saying? I don’t sell anything anymore. I sold my stores a few years back. I do some consulting work and I am semi-retired.
Are you saying the Supreme court was wrong? Question, whose opinion would matter more once said and done?
You can quote the Bible but if it isn’t applicable then it’s meaningless. Whether you know this or not, Tom Fitton, owner of Judicial Watch is the person responsible for advancing this theory. He is not a lawyer. I haven’t heard a single attorney, republican or democrat, who believed this argument carried any weight.
