1. this is how we EAT!!!!!!!

    I love it
  2. who gives a rats ass what espn is saying? just win that takes care of every thing.
  3. i'd rather be an underdog
  4. OH MY GOD ESPN IS SO BIAS AGAINST LSU, THEY ARE PICKING TEXAS!!! GOD FORBID!
  5. Was he on the team that Stro and co. beat down at the New Orleans arena? I remember that teams would back way off and dare him to shoot 3's. He'd get a lot of assists but just wouldn't even look to put it up.

The media hype for Duke and now Texas makes this infinitely more fun. With the football program being strong for the last few years, most games have been "we better not lose this one" rather than the underdog role that provides so much more satisfaction if you get the win. If we keep on winning, the media attention will be all over the Tigers. They seem like great guys and there are plenty of good story angles. Just win this game and you'll be hearing about LSU all week.
  6. Agreed
  7. Today's Austin newspaper (where I live) was pretty kind to us, and included a reveiw of common opponents: A$M, Tenn, W Va, Duke plus someone else that I forget. LSU won all of the games; TX was 1 of 3 vs. A$M, lost to Tenn by double digits; got blown out by Duke; won at the last minute vs. W Va (we won in OT).

I know the transitive property doesn't apply to basketball, but when you have a lot of supporting evidence I would say this team will at least hang with Texas. They are a well balanced club, but if LSU brings the same defensive intensity as they did to the Duke game I think this is a W for the Tigers.
  8. ESPN's favorite school is USC and whoever's playing LSU
  9. Hope the media doesn't pick  all the way to the National Championship. :thumb:
  10. HEY, PUNKY !! HOW BOUT DEM LSU TIGAHS???
