I personally do not believe in nor do I acknowledge the existence of "luck". Myths such as rabbit's feet, four leaf clovers, horshoes or any other superstitions that are believed to bring about something called "luck" are for foolish people who find comfort in deluding themselves. But, if by some chance I am wrong and a thing call "luck" does exist, Rex may be fortunate enough to find himself sitting beside me in Tiger Stadium Saturday night. Now wouldn't that be great.

That would be irrelevant to the subject of Rex's original post in this thread. Rex asked for us to wish him luck and I stated my position on luck. After all, he didn't ask us to pray for him, and I don't recall seeing religion mentioned until you brought it up.

He can't pass on a chance, real or imagined, to take shots at anyone with faith.

it isnt irrelevant. in fact what you said was so similar to what i always say, i thought you may have been imitating me:

that is essentially EXACTLY what i have been telling you guys here. i even use the word superstition and the phrase "deluding themselves" alot when describing you people.

and isnt that 100% EXACTLY the same as telling people that luck doesnt exist? use your head, mr 157 iq. do you know what a person who is "deluding themself" and believing in "luck" and "superstition" is doing? THEY ARE HAVING FAITH.

so rabbit's feet are crazy, but somehow a cricifix or rosary is not?

they are identical. even if you think one is stupid, you at least have to conceded they are both matters of "faith".

 Pull your chain and listen to you bark. Just like a little poodle. Yes it was very similar. Just wanted to see how long it would take you to come back with that bs if you were given the smallest opportunity to do so. I actually find your hatred of Christianity to be somewhat amusing. Don't really know why and I know I shouldn't, but I do.

like i said, it was so similar to what i say about religion, it appeared to me you were imitating me, but making fun of "luck" instead of religion. but i didnt unerstand why you would say those things, because it seemed like you were dissing yourself on purpose. if you say you were just baiting me, i dunno if i believe that, but hey, not everyone is as honest as i am.

what's funny is I can predict you posting a response and exactly what it will be while reading someones post even if its not the same topic.

you have become quite boring and predictable. You and Rex have become one in the same in many ways. just kinda lame, ya know?

    get a new schtick.

i am glad you can predict, i hope you will remember what i say. not that it matters if you are just gonna believe insane nonsense based on nothing, like christians do.

i guess i can say i can predict that you guys will say incredibly stupid stuff like "we will pray for X", or "god bless america", but so what. you predicted that when you guys say disagreeable thing, i actually disagree, congratulations.

i apologize if i am too boring for you. you dont have to read. i will determine if i need a new schtick, but thanks for your opinion.
