I keep bringing this up so that people will not forget. People were saying that OU was possibly the best team in CFB history in '03. They were pasting opponents much tougher than Arkansas by equal and greater margins. ATM: 77-0, UT: 56-13, OSU, 65-13 (not completely sure about the last two, but they're close). Just keep that in mind. I realize that OU had not won an (singular) NC the year before, but if anything, that adds to USC's arrogance.

Ok, so based on what you just said, why does that apply to LSU if they make it to the Rose Bowl and not UT. Up to this point, UT has looked like a better team than us.

Why does what apply to LSU and not UT? Did I ever say anything that LSU would do that UT wouldn't? Just an observation of how the mighty can faulter.

What I'm saying is that you stated that UT would get killed by USC in the Rose and when islstl stated that the outcome would be the same if LSU played USC, you posted examples (using OU's 2003 run) of why USC might not beat LSU. My question is, why does that not apply to UT? Just curious.

No. I never said anything about USC not beating LSU. I posted examples of why teams destroying other teams in the regular season doesn't really mean jack. It's highly likely that they would destroy UT, and I made that comment after reading the postings of those jackasses on the UT board. But I just wanted to remind everyone not to just go ahead and annoint USC NC's the way people are doing now and did to OU in '03. Personally, I think VTech has the strongest chance of beating USC at this point in the season.

I personally think USC would beat UT if they played, but USC has shown to be very unpredictable at times. Blowing out OU, but barely beating Stanford. Man if that's not day and night.
