Red 55 The bashing post you were referring to was tongue in cheek. I started out indicating Saban has offered three players. Then repeated the worn out statement I see daily on the boards, that Evangel players never amount to much. LOL Sorry about the inability to communicate. It doesn't matter to me if a school has never produced a prospect, there is always a first time. We can't afford to miss any that can help us. Dinardo passed up Torbor a DE who went to Auburn and Geathers who went to GT. Both gave us a tough game when we played those two schools. I hope we get Bowers, the DE from Evangel. He has been one of the dominant DL in the sate for the last two years.
There is a reason almost all Evangel transfer and don't pan out. They get to college and think the are hot shit. If they don't want to come to LSU, screw um. Berlin, Philip Deas, Eric Jefferson, on and on. I have no respect for state schools that don't send their kids to LSU. And really, since 1992 when Evangel came on to the seen, name 1 really good college player and Booty is the only one I can think of in the NFL. They always have a great team but indivually, pa bon.
