See if you can guess who said that. I'll give you a hint, it was Augustine in his 13th sermon.
Here is another good quote from St. Augustine from his 2nd treatise on the epistle of John.

What do the words mean, I will build my church on the rock? On this faith, on that which said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.'
