one or two will slip LSU however will GEAUX undefeated..... LOU holtz is bad really bad ..... I cant believe someone at Espn cant see that
I'll repeat Lou Holtz is a moron. He has picked against I believe 3 times this year. He might be right but he is such a weasel.
Both picked USC as the NC(shocker) Lou said that OU would of beat USC....lol Mark(LOVES USC) said USC would win a close one. Pretty fair
I like the under dog tag in the national championship game.It will motivate the tigers further. On the side note I hate Lou Holtz!
As much as we like to criticize the national sports writers for being crazy with their rankings, this could bode ill for us. On the other hand, sometimes they get it right, like 2005, when USC and Tex. went wire to wire as 1 and 2. All they got wrong was the order. As good as Linert and Bush were, VY was even better, certainly on that big night. The writers didn't get it all right, but they were close. But I do think the west coast media bias kept VY from winning the Heisman. But there are several teams that if they get hot and we're not ready, they could pull an upset. It's always hard to clean the slate, especially in the SEC. But it can be done, look at Auburn in 2004. I'll pull for the writers to be right this time. :geauxtige
Lou Holtz Hatin' The ESPNU Championship Series did predict LSU to go 13-0, but Lou Holtz, one of the three studio men delivering the predictions on TV, picked LSU to lose to Virginia Tech, to Florida, and to USC, though he doesn't really think they'll get to the BCS Championship Game. He said in the show's opening salvo, "I do not think [LSU is] the second best team in the nation." Last year he dogged the Tigers quite a bit on TV as well. Just wondering if he had any particularly bad experiences with LSU: the fans, the players, the coaches, the university itself. I know LSU spanked South Carolina a couple times when he was coach, but I don't believe he's so unprofessional as to hold a grudge for that. What say you, fellow Tiger fans? :helmet:
Re: Lou Holtz Hatin' Just wondering if he had any particularly bad experiences with LSU: the fans, the players, the coaches, the university itself. he did start losing to us in the 80's. I believe he brought a ND team to Tiger Stadium in '86 with Tim Brown and got beat. Maybe he has losing record against  . His South Carolina teams got handled pretty well by LSU! in '02 and '03.:geauxtige :helmet:
