I won't go that far. However, it remains to be seen if Les has done anything to correct his problems. The point of the thread, and my original point, is that Shep not getting enough touches had nothing to do with the outcome of this game. If Shep gets more touches and we still have to hang on for the win, the same crowd would be saying we should've chewed clock trying to run the ball with Ridley.
The point of the thread was Les complaining about getting Shep the ball. Does the phrase "The Buck Stops Here" mean anything to anyone? He can't complain when he is the ultimate decision maker....
I will bet good money Les didn't say that without there being a question asked about it. Les WILL give stupid answers to stupid questions. Like I said, I ain't here to take up for Les. But the whole idea of Shep not getting touches is why LSU almost lost is stupid...no, Stupid...with a capital S.
I never took that as the point of this thread, or Low's message. He was just making another point of Les' reasons for being on the hot seat
I agree wholeheartedly with that, but not the point of the thread. I see yapping away by Les and nothing ever being done. I heard about mistakes being corrected last year, yet i see the same ones sometimes.... "Les, Quit talking and start showing!!"
Name all 5. Sturdivant can't be one you name, since he played. By the way, he's one of them...but like I said...he played.
OK, but I saw improved line play (both lines), the deep ball...accurately thrown...and freshmen getting PT. We got plays in quicker. Those are 4 things that people were so down on Les about...although there were more. Time management still seems to be an issue, although it only reared it's ugly head once. Again, where in that article was Les yapping? What I heard from Les was him pointing out the things that need correcting. Fumbles being #1 on the list...and rightfully so. That game is a blowout without fumbles and a bad holding penalty...even with two dumb plays by Fruge.
