who??? link??? or do you have some inside info?? Garrett was told by CLM what he needed to do to keep his scholly...he refused...so see ya.
So Les said in a press conference, sorry Garrett seemed pretty believable to me especially with the evidence available. Les didn't want Garrett to go, he just wanted the scholarship to sign which would eventually be for Z. Lee or whoever else you want to put towards that number. Either way someone was going to be cut from the team. 85 is 85.
Maybe. At the same time the recruits know what they are getting into, there are plenty of websites that say how many recruits LSU or any other college team has. They know the risk of being cut and if they are not at the top of their game or the best they will be cut. If they can't make it at LSU that year the will have to wait until next year or semester to resign with another team. Boo hoo for them I mean really everything will still work out for them if the athlete is a decent talented person.
It will drive you nuts dude, just breathe. That dude's only goal is to go on the message boards and try and rile up any LSU fan he can. I am convinced that he is Ed Orgeron.
Glad to see we had a negative toned topic that could give you some fuel. I don't think I could have gone thru the entire holidays without some of your negativity. Thanks you just made my holidays. Ya wanna know why. Because you remind me that no matter how bad I may think I have it sometimes, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that there is always someone that has it worse than me, and that makes me smile.
Yes, Les school of over-signing. LSU does not have 23 scholarships to give. What you just suggested is exactly what we are talking about and what the ESPN piece is about. This forum is something else.
It's not negative or positive, most of it is facts. It's delusional fans that put their own delusional spin on the facts. I bet you have a stack of "The Secret" books, what a waste. The only people the ESPN piece would offend is the delusional fan that is running from the Truth. The solution is simple, stop over-signing, don't lie, and don't treat the players like cattle. Or what happens, you will have articles written about you are pieces on ESPN about what you are doing. All ESPN did was expose the truth.
And you know this how? Because Garrett and his daddy say so? We're supposed to believe everything was rainbows and kittens with Garrett until mean old Les dropped the hammer and fled to the Bahamas? That his scholarship was pulled for no reason at a time when we're desperate for QBs? It's time to call this what it is, which is sour grapes. And yes, it does matter why he was cut because ESPN decided to use Garrett as their hatchet man. If ESPN wanted to do a story about oversigning, then put up the numbers for everybody in the SEC. They set up Les to be the whipping boy for the entire practice when he is historically not even close to being the worst offender in his own conference. You want to bash oversigning? Fine, but don't trot out a kid and his dad with an ax to grind and suggest Les is some dirty operator among squeaky clean coaches.
sorry, i guess when J Lee transfers it will be because his scholly was pulled to make room for Mett. No other possible explanation. Bro...it's not as black and white as you have 20 available schollys so you cant sign 21. a little something called attrition. NOW...go talk to Nutt about signing 37...you may have a good argument over there.
