    LSU would definantly be a desirable coaching position and many big names would get mentioned, we should do alright. But, sometimes you never can tell - if we went with a defensive coordinator without head coach experience he could turn out to be a flop. Or we could get a big name coach, and he could be unable to get it done (think Ditka to the Saints). I sure hope that if Saban were to leave, we would get somebody great... because I don't know that I could stand some lossing seasons at LSU. I'm spoiled though, my first year as a Tiger and we win a National Championship...

    the NFL is a copy cat league. teams see the success NE has had over the long-term (at least in NFL terms). these GMs know that Saban is a carbon copy of Bellichick and think they can have the same success with Saban with his similar defensive and overall coaching strategy. he's not just jumping at any NFL job which leads me to believe if Saban leaves LSU, it will be a great opportunity to be successful, soon. the bears didn't present that opportunity and neither do the dolphins IMO.
