Nutt wont even be mentioned in the conversation. He's done as far as major college football goes. He needs to look for a nice little cream puff to land at.
He wasn't out of it in 2002. He was allegedly informed of a Penn State individual sexually assaulting a ten year-old boy. (The issue as to why the witnessing adult did not stop the assault on the spot is beyond creepy in its own right). Yes, he's a legend, but he perhaps got too carried away with his reputation & that of PS, causing him to sweep the matter (and that child's welfare) under the carpet. I'd like to hope that I would have acted differently/decisively. Joe Pa had the props to take any azzhat down--even publically--and then be able to weather the storm & come out shining as an upright guy who did the right thing for the child and for the University. Time to exit! A sad, disgraceful way to tarnish a brilliant career.....
Everything that he has accomplished in his career is completely overshadowed by his failure to do everything in his power to protect innocent children.
