He can verbally commit anywhere up until National Signing Day on Feb 7th. At that time he has to fax in his signed letter of intent which locks him into the school. Technically he doesn't have to do it that day though most kids do. He could always drag it out like Williams did last year.

looks like oregon led the pac 10 in rushing yardage by almost 300 yards over the next team. I wouldnt have guessed that.

    tops in 1st and goal situations (24.3%), 1st in 3rd down % (49.7%), points/game (31.3) and total yardage(436.8).

Damn. He bested the mighty USC, and with far less talent. Impressive.

Now we just have to wait 230 days to see his offense on the field. That's just a short 7 months and 18 days away... It should fly by. :thumb:

Crowton's resume looks very impressive, personally I do not watch much Oregon, BYU. LA Tech,or Bears football ( except this weekend when we kick the bears ass! ).

I lived in Austin for 5 years when he was the coach at OSU and got to see some of his games. I must admit I had serious doubts when they hired him at LSU. I am very pleased with him now, especially seeing this years recruiting class.

I have always felt that Jimbo never played to the talent of his team on offense until it was too late and we lost a game and got knocked out of NCG contention. Let's see what a run-n-gun OC can really do with this offense we have YIKES!
    Geaux Tigers!

PURPLE TIGER HOPE is not a strategy!

According to Rivals, Oregon is currently 15th in recruiting for 2007. It appears that all the recruits are from the west coast so I doubt any would try to follow him here. (It's not like we have room anyway.) Only USC (@ #5) leads Oregon in Pac-10 recruiting thus far. Cal is currently 21st.

It just shows that he's willing to leave a good recruiting class to move to possibly the best class in the country.

He must be pretty excited looking at all the weapons he can use! :geauxtige

Les Miles was known for a full out assault on offense at OSU. I don't buy it. Sell that crap to the weak minded.
