Albeit futile. Bama would simply collect all the money wasted on dental insurance in that state to outbid that figure.

I didn't bother clicking on this link when this thread was posted. I saw it linked on another site just a minute ago and it has LSU projected at 9-3. This article references the ESPN rankings. Have those changed, or was the author mistaken?

It may not be today, it may not be tomorrow, but one day you're going to suck again. Can't wait.

I hope you have been taking notes, are continuing to take notes, and will be taking notes tomorrow and in the future. I may need someone to lean on for advice and can think of no one better than someone who's been there. :D

Good Catch Terry --- But if you read the article, you'll see that it provides a game by game analysis and after each game analysis makes a game prediction based on the model's simulations. Looking at the analysis of the projected 2017 season (see below), you'll see that it is in fact predicting an 11/1 outcome although a few of the predicted wins have a "probability" of just over 50%.

    <><><> QUOTED FROM THE ARTICLE....

ESPN’s updated Football Power Index has produced a season win-loss prediction for the Tigers based on 10,000 simulations of each game.

Here is how the Tigers are predicted to fare each week.

SKIPPING TO THE LAST GAME OF THE SEASON...

Nov. 25 LSU vs. Texas A&M (Tiger Stadium)
    Texas A&M FPI Rank: 27
    ESPN Prediction: LSU victory
LSU’s chance of winning: 80.8 percent
    LSU’s projected record: 11-1
