But when you do read, you exercise comprehension. I've seen more than a few instances where someone has brought a different view to one of your observations and you've acknowledged it was a fair point. What you don't do is when something you've posted is met with a "hold on a second," you're immediately changing the parameters of the discussion. More importantly, when a different and salient point is proffered you don't ignore it and continue. I've seen many here pause, think, and consider. I certainly try to when I'm here (and I'm sure, at times, not successfully.)
