Here is the actual article in "Sports Illustrated", Nov. 9, 1959 issue, go to page 40. It is the best description of the game I have ever seen. Link was sent to me by a friend, a Longhorn fan who remembers those times and realizes that Cannon is to LSU as Vince Young and Earl Campbell are to Texas.
