Thanks, now you will tell me you will treat "her" well and that you are sorry you slept with her while we were still together.....very comforting. :nope:
Was that because Saban didn't care about winning the game? Competitive people always want to win, no matter the circumstances. Of course it's a huge distraction. But it doesn't mean they don't care about winning the game today. They'll try their best, but it may or may not be enough to overcome everything that has happened the past week.
This is the same ESPN that we have all berated and stated numerous times that they (and other media) spread rumors. So, why do we all of a sudden now believe these guys and don't believe Miles, his agent, Bertman or the Michigan AD, all of whom have stated that there has been no contact. Do I think that Miles will leave for Michigan? Probably. Do I believe the deal has already been done? Based on what? ESPN? There's an authority. Get a grip, people. We're condemning and cursing people when we don't even know anything has happened.:geaux:
I dont know why no one would want saban back. you have to understand he would have never left for another college he left for the NFL if this situation with les would have happened in year one saban would have probably came right back.....I'll take him right now
Thanks for the comments...appreciate your comment as a fan of a great Big Ten school. Its no surprise to us. I think few who really follow Tiger football are taken aback by this. We all know that the press wants to sensationalize things as much as they possibly can. Breaking a story like this...losing both a head coach and defensive coordinator on the eve of and on game day of the conference championship is made to order for sports writers and announcers. The concern that I have is just how competent are our powers that be in insuring as smooth a transition as is possible and in choosing and negotiating with the right replacement. LSU can get just about anyone they want, but are the powers that be competent enough to do it? We have NO ONE in Mark Emeret's class at LSU now.:LSU231:
I think all that stuff about hurting recruiting is overrated. We will get a good coach and recruiting will not suffer. I would bet most of these guy's would come to LSU regardless of who the coach is.
That one really hurt! My little girl was born New Years Eve and I was in a hospital room watching the game @ Ft Lewis Wa on New Years Day. I was so pissed and my wife told me to just leave the room if I wasn't going to visit our little girl. It's up to the seniors to get this team fired up because the coaches will be there but I think the veteran players will have more impact. Today I'll have faith in the Tigers along with a few Miller Lites!:hihi:
Thanks Coach Miles for a great three years. 2 top 5 finishes and perhaps one more with an outside shot at number one. I appreciate everything you've done and understand the need to get back to your alma mater. We will be on a search for a guy who's dream job is coaching LSU. Good luck in all your future endeavors.
Maybe a UM fan can help me with this. Carr added some clauses in his contract this year before the season started. One of the changes was when he leaves the team his assistants would stay coaching at UM for one or two years after his departure. Is this now changed because of negotiations with Miles or is this clause still in place? If the clause is still in place we wont lose any coaches other than Miles to UM.
