Yes, it was Kiper. Heard him start talking about other teams and who their big stars were, then said LSU with JR, Bowe, Landry, Ali, and a couple of others, no one matches up with the big time talent that LSU has. He said Michigan comes close. He was hyping the aborted LSU\Michigan game I do believe.
As much as I would love to agree with your prediction, let's remember that both teams will have a MONTH to prepare. I'm sure the ND coach will be able to put something together to give their offense some measure of success. However, I think that if we play like we're capable of playing, we should beat them by 2 tds. And let's not be too hard on Wies, at least as a man. I saw an ESPN report the other night about hsi relationship with his daughter, who has a severe learning disability. He seemed to be genuinely caring towards her. :geauxtige
I don't think we will have any issues playing ND and could very possibly blow them out but it will matter little to the Press and the ND spin machine will just claim it was because of our "home field advantage" and on a neutral field, Nd would...blah, blah, blah. Same stuff you heard about in the 2003 game vs Okie, even though there seemed to be just as many Okie fans in the stands as ours. I am stoked we are in a BCS bowl and will get the viewers nationwide that ND will bring, but man so close to the dream of facing USC....
Definately an overreaction. It is clear he loves USC but that's his perogative, and you can make a case stating that the Trojans chocked. They are clearly a better team than UCLA. They were just not a better team yesterday.
nah weis is a great guy from the kid with cancer(or some terminal illness) who asked him to throw it to fasano on the first play and then weis did it from his like own one yard line to the charity he has done with his daughter. hes a great and his teams are a lot of fun to watch but obviously i want the tigers to win.
